And mines one of them . .

The Times has run a feature this morning in there supplement “Times 2” detailing the many blogs out there in the Blogosphere that are making money from what started out as plain old on-line web logs like mine, ok maybe not all of them are like mine, but they were started and are still updated by individuals who just wanted to write about something they like/do/watch/make etc, and there’s 57 million other people out there doing the same, with over 100,000 new blogs joining them every day.

How many of these will succeed in bringing in readers to there little place on the net and how many will actually make money off the back’s of there blog’s, hopefully all of them will make something, especially when you consider that according to The Times, bloggers can spend up to 8hrs a day updating/monitoring/tweaking there blogs, I’m not quite the average blogger as I maybe spend about 3-4 hrs doing all of these things, I don’t even make any money from this blog, but then again I didn’t start writing this blog to make money, I started it as a way to communicate about the things that go on in my life for my friends and family to read, but gradually over time it’s become a sort of way of releasing the stress that comes of work and a way of just letting everyone who cares or read this blog what makes me happy and what I’m doing . .

Maybe one day this blog will be one of the few that are picked up and put into the spotlight, but when that happens I hope its not about money that its there . . I hope its there because people enjoy reading it.
