I’m finally beginning to get the hang of the iPad now, though still finding the touch keyboard a little bit tricky to use, hoping now I’ve got WordPress for iPad app installed I’ll get more practice on the keyboard.
I’m actually posting this from the WordPress app now while sat in Electriks, it’s quite a liberating app, being able to post without being sat in front of a computer screen sat in the bedroom at home, just sitting here with a beer, fresh air and the sound of Chorltonites going about their daily business.
The iPad version of the app is much the same as the iPhone version except it’s obviously on a bigger scale, it was fairly easy to set up and link into my blog, though for some reason I had to add and remove it twice to get it to update the posts in my blog, but now it’s linked, everything seems to be working fine, so now I’ll hopefully be back to normal and be posting on a more regular basis.
Now to see how easy it is to post a picture from the app . . Hopefully you should now see a picture I’ve just taken with the iPad 2 somewhere below this text
Anyway that’s it for this post, everything seems to be working with iPad WordPress app so I’m happy 😉
Hi, very informative post.
are you able to post a gif, jpeg, or ping file that was not taken by the ipad2: but that was copied to the Ipad2 or was edited in the ipad2 & saved as a one of the files I’ve listed above and then posted to your
wordpress blog, or your tumbler blog.
I want to buy an Ipad 2 & post from it as i’ve explained
thanks
Hal
Hal, will have a play about over the next few days and let you know as not tried that yet 🙂
Hal,
sorry for the late response, yes you can post gif, jpegs saved to the ipad into a the wordpress app.
Hello,
I came across your blog when googling how to get the Swipe effect for my blog.
I’m having problems adding a photo to my WordPress blog when using my ipad2. Any ideas? There’s nothing in the manual.
Thank you for your time.
