Mmmmm Curry is great

Just been for a few beers at the Horse and Jockey in Chorlton, really nice just watching the world go by with a pint of Bulmers in one hand and a fag in the other, was fairly quiet in there tonight and the green itself was pretty devoid of people drinking there own beer, but still a pleasant evening in all.

While we were sat there got talking to a lad who’d just come back from 3 months travelling round Eastern Europe, he’d visited Poland, Slovakia, Bosnia, Bulgaria and just about every other former member of the Communist regime, got some recommendations for place to visit when we eventually have some spare holiday time, he highly recommended Krakow, which I reckon I’ll be up for, said it was similar to Prague as in friendliness and cheap beer (definitely off now ).

Had a long chat with Mel as well about Alan, wondering where he was and if he’d ever show up again, it’s been 2 weeks nrly since anyone saw him, I told Mel I reckon he’ll turn up in about another 2 weeks at my mothers, just got to wait and see I suppose, had a chat about our forth coming birthdays and what we both would like, anyway we decided to treat each other to a weekend away, not sure where yet, but it’s looking like we might go to Chester for the weekend as a friend of Mel’s has recommended a nice litte Pub called The Pheasant Inn, theres a few nice bike rides around there to, so might finally get out on our bikes at last.

Anyway we rounded the evening off by ordering to take outs from that nice Indian takeaway by the side of the green . . mmmm just salivating thinking about it . .  best little takeaway I know, even better then the restaurants in Rusholme if u ask me, managed to stop myself eating it all and have saved some for work tomorrow, so will probably stink of garlic and coriander all day tomorrow
