There was a crash this morning just down the road from where I work on Chester Road, pretty bad from all the ambulances and Police that turned up and Chester Road is still closed to traffic between Talbot Road and Great Stone Road.

From what we’ve been told and heard on the grapevine, it appears that a Ford Focus car crashed into a bus near the Gorsehill Pub then flipped over a couple of times and then landed on its roof, seems it also hit another car to,it would also seem the driver of the Focus died in the crash and looking at the pictures on the MEN website, it’s understandable that he died the car’s been totally ripped apart by the crash, luckily there were no deaths on the bus, but we’ve also heard that the driver has sustained injuries to his arm and a number of passengers where injured in the crash as the car hit the bus, got to say those passengers had a lucky escape, cause if the damage that occurred to the car had been even slightly repeated to the bus, you’d have been looking at a few more death.

Just heard the roads going to be closed until 5pm tonight at the earliest, so might be best to avoid Chester Road completely tonight.
