Happy ending

Well after having “Patch” since Friday t-time and looking after her and letting her sleep at the bottom of our bed all weekend, we took her out for a walk this morning and saw one of our other neighbours walking there dog, after chatting to them for a while and explaining who “Patch” was and how we came by her she told us that she resembled a dog off the next close to ours.

So after taking her back home and getting ready for work we put “Patch” in the car and drove round to the house we’d been told she lived at, and knocked on the door.

Well her owner a delightful young lady came running out shouting Suzie and fussing over her, seems like she does have an owner after all.

Turns out she’s chased a cat that was in the garden on Friday afternoon and had’nt been seen since, her owner was going to call the Dog Warden today as they were told on Friday like us that the Warden was’nt available over the Bank Holiday.

A Happy Ending for Suzie aka “Patch” but a sad ending for us, we’d got quite attached to “Patch”… .
