Well Jase and Jo and a few others decided a night in Manchester was needed for Jo’s birthday, so after hooking up with Jase, Jo, Karen, Teresa, Cookie and Vickers at the Premier lodge they were booked into we headed into Manchester, first stop being the Dry Bar in Oldham street, had a few beers there then headed over to the Fab Cafe, a rather strange place on Portland st dedicated to all things TV and Movie related, a sort of theme pub, was a little bit wary when we first headed in there as it seemed to be full of towny types all pissed up and that.

Anyway after downing a couple of pints we all seemed to get into the mood of the evening and were no longer conscious of the aforementioned towny’s, spent a good few hours in there getting drunk and watching Vickers slowly enter his own little world of random words and rants, this may have been caused by the amount of alcohol he consumed from other peoples table’s, think they call it depth charging or something.

Soon it was time to hit the road and see if we could get into a nightclub, so we headed towards Jilly’s and the Music Box, but alas after stumbling through the Manchester night we discovered that the doors had been closed on us and we were stuck for something to do, but a light shone in the distance and it was the Spar on Oxford road with its large stock of Alcoholic consumables, which we proceeded to buy, so after stocking up it was decided to head to our little abode in Urmston, where after waking Mel up we continued to party into the wee hours, only stopping when Jase and Jo and the rest of there motley Nottingham crew decided it was time to head back to the comfort of their Premier Lodge . . all in all a good night was had . . .
