Took my nephew for a bike ride yesterday morning up to Jackson’s Boat a real nice pub nr Sale/Chorlton, had a ride along the river and around Chorlton Water Park, then back along the other side of the river and back to Jackson’s Boat for something to eat.

Must say that the Fish and Chip’s especially the Jumbo sized portion you can order there is a blinder, I was nearly defeated by the amount of fish and chips you actually get, should also mention its a very dog friendly pub, they provide water and biscuits for our four legged friends, so if you fancy a dog walk with good food and good beer afterwards check this place out.

Anyway back to the bike ride . . .  I really think now is the time to start getting my bike out more often as after only cycling about 4 miles on me moutain bike I had to sleep for about 6hrs just to recover . .  i don’t seem as fit as I used to I can tell you
