In other news it’s now 30 years since August 16, 1977, when Elvis Presley collapsed in his bathroom and died of heart failure brought on no doubt by a lifetime love of bacon fat and a enormous appetite for Placidyl and Dexedrine .

So the King of rock and roll Elvis Arron Presley died and it seems that even after death he still rules, all over the world people are coming togeather to mourn the passing of a man who introduced the world to crutch thrusting that even today’s artists such as Prince, Micheal Jackson and numerous other pop star’s try to emulate, but hey no one does it as good as Elvis.

Though it may be 30 yrs since he died the King is still earning bucks for the Presley family/Estate, regularly bringing in sums of over 8 figures annually.

According to Forbes rich list of dead rich people the King is still leading the pack of deceased stars/celebrity’s/business types and has remained at No 1 every year bar 2006 since the list was introduced in 2001, the year he didnt make it to No 1 was the year Kurt Cobain made the list, but this was only due to Courtney Love selling some of her shares in Cobains Trust/Estate.

No doubt Elvis will still be bringing in the millions/billions in years to come and still be remembered by all those fans out there.

I myself was never a big Elvis fan except for maybe Jailhouse Rock and the classic Old Shep

Now echoing some one immortal words I’ll sign off with

Elvis Has left the building
