I rang a supplier this morning who I have’nt spoken to in quite a while to wish her Happy New Year and catch up on what she’s been up to of recent, when I rang i got a recorded message informing me to redial the switchboard, when I eventually got through I asked to be put through to Stacey’s ext, they told me she was’nt there anymore, when I asked where she’d gone they told me she’d died last year in a bike accident 🙁

The lady on the switchboard went on to tell me that Stacey’s dad had been diagnosed with a terminal illness and that she and her father had decided to go on one last biking holiday togeather to France before it got so he could’nt ride anymore, apparently the holiday went fine, but on the way back through France there’d been some sort of accident and she’d come off her bike, she was on life support for a number of day’s and then it was decided to switch it off, I think they said it was brain death.

I never met Stacey, but we used spend ages on the phone chatting and flirting as you do, I’m quite saddend that I never got to meet Stacey, I’m sure we’d have got on like a house on fire, though I’d probably not have be so brazen in real life, I’m just happy she and her father got to spend one last time togeather both doing something they enjoyed .. riding bikes, she’d told me before that her dad had taught her to ride a bike when she was a teenager and she’d been enthusiastic  ever since, passing her bike test and gradually moving upto to bigger better bikes, becoming something of a Biker Bird as she called herself . .
I’ll miss you Stacey 🙁
