So what should I put on my ipod today

You know how it is, your sat there looking at your Itunes, wondering what to put on your Ipod !

Do I put the Beatles on it, do I put The Fray on it, do I fill it with Dance tracks or how about some Mozart . .

My problem is I have so many albums in Itunes I can never decide what exactly I want to listen to and end up putting on stuff I’ve heard hundreds of times before, I really need to start putting on tracks/albums I have’nt really listened to, but I worry I won’t like the rest of the album that I bought because I liked one track, I need to get a grip and just load it to the brim with this sort of stuff and actually listen to it . .

To let you see what I mean here’s my Full Itunes Album listing, but there’s so much to choose from, so how about some help here !, got any recommendations of what I should stick on my Ipod this weekend from the selection at hand

  1. For my nano, I just make a smart playlist of either haven’t been played in x days, or has less than x plays. Then the playlists are limited to however many songs your ipod can handle that are selected by random.

  2. Not a bad idea Graham, might give that a go today when I take Blue for a walk, at the moment I’m going through a faze of just listening to all my Chilled/Ambient albums, so I’ll give your idea a go and see what wonders itunes puts into the playlists

  3. have you listened to Arcade Fire ‘neon bible’ yet? I see it’s in your list, very good indeed.

Also give PWEI’s ‘this is this…’ a replay, listened to it recently, brilliant.

Have you got any Simian Mobile Disco? They’re good.

    Thanks.

  4. Yeah quite liking Neon Bible meself, as for PWEI not listened to that in a bit, at the moment listening to Fred Deakins TripTych, which I’m liking alot indeed, pester me and I might stick it on a CD for you.

Now as for Simian Mobile Disco not heard of them but will have a looksee on the Binaries and see if I can pull down a copy . . cheers for the heads up
