Meeting put off again and LloydsTSB Charges

Well from reading some of my previous post’s you may or may not have noticed I’ve been trying to get into see my MD regarding purchasing replacement PC’s for our Office, 29 in total, I’ve been trying to get in and see him now for over 3-5 weeks, I’ve actually managed 1 meeting with him so far which was interupted by a colleague who then took over the meeting and I was pushed to the side, since then nrly every day I’ve asked for a rescheduled meeting and everyday I’ve been promised that we’ll sit down and discuss the next day, and guess what we never do, well today’s the last day that we can place th order and recieve the Invoice dated 2006 and I’ve attempted to inform my MD of this twice maybe 3 times today, once by email and now twice by phone, we need to place this order before 5:30pm today, other wise they items wo’nt be dispatched until the New Year and they only invoice when the item is dispatched.

To be totally honest I’m so fcuked off and stressed by this I honestly could’nt care less whether we get these PC’s or not, but no doubt I’ll get even more stressed when he finally orders them to late and he gets an Invoice in January dated Jan 2007, it will no doubt be my fault this has happened and I’ll be made to feel shit about it, I’m now just sick to death of working here after this, it seems every other person in the office can have a meeting to discuss stuff with him, yet I can’t even get 30 min’s to discuss IT issues that he requested a discussion about.

IT does’nt seem of any importance here unless it goes wrong then everyone wants to speak to you, but otherwise it’s a 2nd rate subject/dept that does’nt deserve anybody’s time . . just can’t be arsed anymore, I’m actually getting depressed about it which is’nt any good for me at the moment, as I’ve got more important things to worry about namely money and having none of it . .

Which brings me to the subject of Lloyds TSB, my bank, over the past year this Bank must have had over 1500 in unorthorised overdraft charges from me, most of these overdraft charge’s I would’nt have had to pay if my bank had’nt charged me in the first place, every time I got over drawn they would charge me 30 and then about another 60-90 for being overdrawn for so many days etc, this would result in me ebing charged about 120 a month, which would then result in me getting overdrawn again the follwoing month this would then result in me getting overdrawn agian, it just becomes a vicuous circle of me paying them 120 each month, work that out over a 1 yr period and it soon totals up.

So anyway I’ve now been in contact with my bank requesting a list of all overdraft charges they’ve made against me in the last 24 months and once these arrive I’m going to see about starting a claims in the small claims court and try and get all my money back and then I’m going to change my bank to some one else, what narks me the most is a piece in one of the papers today that reckoned that the actual cost to the bank of a person going overdrawn was 2.50 and yet they charge you the customer 30, making a profit of 27, now that to me is fcuking disgusting, you can read about it all here

I’ve also read that you can claim back penalty charges that have been levied in the last six years.

To help you do this, consumer association Which? has released a four-step plan to getting your money back – including template letters to send to banks which can be found here
