LlloydsTSB just charged me

£156 pound for being over drawn on my overdraft by £25 for 9 days last month which in turn took me £105 overdrawn this month, so next month there probably going to charge me another £100+ again for being overdrawn this month.

All I can say to that is . . FUCKING RIP-OFF

I’m probably going to be having words with my bank some time today about this, as I’m not impressed at all, how the fcuk are people supposed to reduce there overdraft if the banks they have them with charge extortionate amounts to be overdrawn, and how the fcuk can these same banks be struggling if there making that sort of money off there customers every time they go overdrawn.

  1. if the charges are unreasonable they can’t do it – there have been thousands of cases about it so tell them to shove it.

at the same time learn how to manage your finances so you don’t even give the b&stards the chance to catch you going overdrawn. how hard can it be???

  2. Have an agreed overdraft and don’t go over it. or even better don’t spend what you haven’t got. Surely you have online banking and can check your bank account online everyday to monitor your spending. There is now no excuse of not knowing that you are overdrawn nowadays. Too many people are spending more than they earn, hence the start of the Credit Crunch! I personally have a £300 overdraft which I have not used now since the 1980’s, but then again I am prepared to eat TOAST every night for my tea if I am skint!. I only buy what I can afford, turn off lights, switch appliances off at the PLUG, even when on Standby they use electric. I have more than halved my electric bill at the shop from £225 a quarter down to £106 a quarter, don’t forget I only have lighting at the shop, no heating so I am chuffed at the saving. I am tackling my home utility bills now and reducing them. Having an extra duvet on instead of putting the heating on. Wearing an extra jumper when sat watching tv or on pc. It all helps. The banks are there to make money just like any company……
