Just spent 2 hrs on the Phone with NTL

So as part of my concerted effort not to be broke next month, I decided on Friday to reduce my Broadband bill by down-grading from a 10meg connection to a lowly 2meg connection, making a saving of £20 a month, anyway the downgrade happened today and as usual with NTL, nothing is simple so after spending 3 frutiless hours speaking to NTL on the phone, switching my set top box and pc off and back on about 70 time’s my broadband eventually came back on, ffs how hard must it be to get things done first time at NTL and they’re now one of the UK’s biggest suppliers of broadband as well, quite scarey really.

So the golden rule is once you have something working correctly with NTL, don’t change it as if you do you’ll regret it
