About 500 people gathered for an illegal rave in a disused car showroom in Manchester. Dozens of officers were sent to the site on Hyde Road, Belle Vue, after receiving reports of the event on Saturday night.

A very small proportion of the crowd became aggressive and police arrested four people for public order offences, though nobody was injured.

Roads were blocked as the crowd left, causing some traffic problems.”
