It’s been a grand day has’nt it

Nothing like a bit of sun to make you thirsty and nothing better to quench that thirst then a visit to the pub for some late lunch, so after Heaton Park we headed to the Green Dragon in Lymn for a spot of lunch, really nice pub the Dragon is and the food as is most pub’s we’ve visited of late was excellent, I as usual went for the meat dish, this time it was a Gammon Steak and boy did I enjoy it, literally licked the plate clean, Mel went for the Sea Bass on a mashed potato base with rocket salad and some dressing(not sure what dressing) and the same could be said for her plate it was spotless afterwards.

Chilled with a few pints of Magna’s cider to wash it all down and then just had enough room for the Chocolate Fudge Brownie with a dollop of vanilla Ice cream, all this without the drinks came to about £17, which ain’t bad for a pub meal in nice surrounding’s, and again the outside of the pub was dog friendly ensuring that all your 4 legged friends had plenty of water to drink in the heat . . anyway give this place a try and let me know what you think, also if anyone’s got any suggestions for local bar’s, pubs that may peak our interest’s feel free to let us know.

Anyway going to go watch last night’s episode of Dr Who now so maybe chat later about life in general
