It’s taken a hell of a long time to convince her, but my beloved girlfriend of 13 years is finally going to take the plunge and start taking driving lessons again.

Mel’s had lessons before and has even passed her theory test on a previous occasion, but then decided she didn’t want to  drive due to the fact that there were to many idiots on the road (hope she didn’t mean me), I’ve explained to her as long as she know that fact, she’ll make a great driver.

Anyway she’s sent off for a replacement provisional licence and should hopefully start taking lessons again sometime this month, when we will be arranging 10 x 1hr lessons for her, going to try to get her passed as quickly as possible, so we’ll see how she does with these first 10hrs and then take it from there.

Think I had a total of 15-20hrs of lesson’s before I was put in for my test, I passed it on my 3rd attempt, hoping she passes on her 1st, that way she’ll have one up on me and it will hopefully boost her confidence as a new driver.

Anyway watch this space and I’ll let you know how she gets on.

Oh before I forget, she’s after a Mini One Hatchback, so if anyone’s ever owned one, would be grateful of any advice on them, i.e. what are they like to drive ? Are they good on fuel consumption etc etc etc
