Seems that the lovely people at the Manchester Chamber of Trade are having a little get together at the imperial war museum on Friday 15th June from 8.am to 10pm to discuss the congestion charge with some of its members, and there’s only room for 30 people (oh and the public is’nt invited) . . so wouldn’t it be nice to gatecrash this and see exactly what Penny Boothman (Head of Transport – Manchester City Council) has to say about this charge for getting to work and whether the council is going to suggest that employers off-set this charge as some people are going to be losing about £25-£50 in wages just to get into work . .
