So it’s Bernadette’s b-day and we’ve all been out, started at the Moss Vale in Davyhulme, but it was pretty quite in there, not loud or lively enough for us, so hijacked a Minibus and headed into town, first stop was the Salisbury on Oxford road for a refill of beer/cider or whatever took ya fancy, the evening was a lot more entertaining in there, some of us spent the evening trying convince people one of our group was a hooker, while I told anyone and everyone it was Bernie’s 45th birthday, though she actually only 42, but a young 42.
After there we headed� to some Indie Club off Princess Street in town, nice little venue� but it was nearly empty and the dj was shite, so it was decided that Rockworld it would be, by the time we got there Kenny had turned up, actually tell a lie we met him at the other club, forgetful in my old age.
Anyway spent most of the evening in there nipping out for the occasional smoke, it was on one of these me and Bernie saw a girl who nobody seemed to be taking notice of and didn’t have a group of friend’s with, we got talking to her letting her know she was welcome to join us or we could get her a taxi, didn’t want to leave here prey to the town center dickhead’s, anyway turned out she’d come into town with her boyfriend, who’d then proceeded to finish with her and leave her pissed and stranded in Manchester, well we sat and chatted to her telling her that by the sound she was well rid of a dickhead right there, anyway just by talking to her, we let her know not everyones a cunt or trying to screw you over.
She wouldn’t let us pay for a taxi for or anything, but thankfully we managed to find someone who knew her and got her ok.
Anyway were all sat back at Bernies now, there Susanah, Amanda, Lisa, Nicola(asleep in Sinaeds bed), Nikki, Kenny, Steve, Liam and me.
Hopefully I’ll be posting a YouTube video of the night, I’ve set my Isight cam up on PowerMac and got some stop frame software running it, taking a picture every 15 seconds, should be interesting I hope, though the lights have been off for a bit of it.
It nice to have these sort of friends, no preconceptions just friends…..
