So I’m sat here at work in my lunch, bored shitless waiting for the day to end and thought to myself it was about time I had a forum on the blog again as its been a while.

So with a wave of my magic wand. . . ok not my magic wand, more like typed words in google(forum wordpress blog), I came across BBPress, its built/created by the same people who created WordPress, so after about less then 15 minutes of downloading from the web, uploading to my website and configuration, the blog has a new forum, a very basic looking forum I must admit, but its still a forum and I  reckon that as its been built along the same lines as WordPress and by the same community it’s less likely to attract as much spam posts as my last forum, plus its got Askimet built in, so any spam that is attempted to be posted will surely be spotted by this, here’s hoping anyway, as it was becoming a full-time job removing junk/spam posts from my last forum, only time will tell I suppose . .

If your already registered as a member of this blog, you can forgo registering for the forum as it uses the same log on details for both, that’s another reason I’m trying it out, its designed to integrate with WordPress, so you only have to log in to one to use both 🙂

I’ve set up only one sub-forum at the moment called “Ideas Always Welcome“, somewhere for you the reader to suggest topics ideas for the blog, think it might be interesting to see what you’d blog about or what you think I should occasionally blog about, maybe you have a passion that you think other people might be interested in.

This ideas really just an experiment I suppose, so bear with me if it sounds naff, but ideas come and go alot in this rather large head of mine and sometimes I have to share them.
