I arrived back in Manchester Christmas Day evening after deciding that driving back on Boxing day would be a nightmare what with all the people heading to the sales and such, glad I did come back when I did as the roads were real quiet so got back in just under 2hrs.

Spent most of yesterday in bed preparing my body and soul for being back at work today, which to be honest was a most painful day indeed, there were just 6 of us in the office today and I think the phones rang twice, one of these calls being Mel to let me know the Miele man had been to fix the washing machine.

I have never been in an office as quiet as ours was today, you could have heard a pin drop, though it would have needed to have dropped all day as it was quiet all day, I busied myself doing defrags of all the workstations in the office and the servers and then just waited until 5:30pm came when I could make my escape . . . don’t know what the fcuk I’m going to do tomorrow or Monday come to think of it, just have to check the computers in the warehouse I suppose and the GTC workstations.

Anyway I’m home now and can just try and rid my mind of today’s mental torture.
