I seem to be getting a lot of refers from this website http://teslafreeenergymodel.blogspot.com/ showing up in my blogsite stats, in short its referer spam.

Whats referer spam ?

Well its a way of making people look at website’s they would not normally have any interest in, this could be a site selling male enhancement pills or in this case alternative means of producing energy.

So what they do is trick your web host/website stats into showing you referrers that don’t actually refer to your site at all, you see in your stats these weird web addresses’ as referrers and wonder what they are and like most curious souls out there you click on the page that s linking to you, but guess what, when you get to the page their does’nt seem to be any links to your site at all, instead your now looking at a site that sells Viagra or cheap energy solutions.

So if you spot these sorts of referrers in your stats, just ignore them, there spam
