York Castle

Went to York yesterday to meet a forumite off the Big Chill Forum, a rather nice gentleman called Jez and his just as nice dog Jasper.
After meeting Jez we all headed along the side of the previously flooded Ouse river for a bit of a dog walk, though having to be very careful where we stepped as the banks were well and truly covered with mud and silt and there were a few occasions were yours truly nearly ended up on my arse.
Really nice walk Jez took us on, I’d never actually walked that far down the river before and found it a nice relaxing experience, Blue seemed to enjoy it alot and it was nice to see both dogs getting on with there own thing and not bothering with us humans.
Gotta say Jez was a deffo nice guy and enjoyed learning abit about each other and putting a face to a forum name.
Anyway after sharing a quick drink with Jez we went our seperate ways, him to sort out his lecture for Monday and the night he was putting on that evening and me, mel and Blue to do a little shopping round York.
Blue seemed to enjoy York the most, as everyone who saw her wanted to know what breed of dog she was and was constantly getting complemented on her good looks, while me and mel were pushed to the sidelines . . . thats the problem with having a dog thats better looking then you . . everyone wants to meet her and not you 🙁
