£1.24 a litre . .

that’s how much it cost me on the way back from the lakes yesterday, this was at a BP Garage  on the M6, when I left Manchester on Friday it was about £1.19 a litre and that was a Shell garage.

Pretty soon it’s going to be so expensive I won’t be able to drive at all, these price increase would start to hike up just a couple of months before we’re supposed to be going to Cornwall on holiday, just hoping they start to go down again pretty damn quick as if they don’t that 1200 mile round trip there and back is going to take most of our spending money just to pay for the petrol.

At the rate the prices are rising it looks like we’ll be soon paying £1.50 a litre within the next month or so, how much longer are people going to stand for such large price hikes

  1. Thats cheap, I paid £1.32 when I filled up last, and it is now upto £1.39 at Coastways, I am quoting Deisel prices. Try using this site

and you can find out where the sheapest petrol is in your area all you gotta do is put in your postcode and type of fuel and sign up for latest prices. The cheapest for me is on the A63 Shell Garage so I get Dave to take my car to work and fill up for me.

  2. this will test the governments (and everyone elses) resolve on the environment. higher prices mean lower demand, lower demand means fewer greenhouse gasses, fewer greenhouse gasses mean the planet lives longer.

    so what’s the problem??

main problem is that we all *say* we want to save the planet, but when it comes to taking beer money from our pockets, does anyone give a shit??????
