There I was rushing home thinking that I’d be able to sit down in front of the TV with a nice cup of coffee and some yummy Bangers and Mash and await an evening of Stargate SG1 & Stargate Atlantis . . well imagine my dismay to discover that my Cable package no longer contains Sky 1, 2 & Sky News, seems Sky wanted to charge Virgin Media a little bit more for the Sky Basics package then last year and Virgin we’re’nt willing to pay it, so now all us NTL/Virgin Media user’s have been deprived of the likes of Stargate,Lost, Grey Anatomy etc etc etc . .

It is quite nice to see someone standing up to Rupert Murdoch and his empire, but it’s quite sad to think I’ve now got to wait until Channel 4 start screening Lost months after every one else who’s a Sky subscriber gets to see it.

Might have been nice if Virgin Media had asked its subscribers if they were happy to pay more for the Package instead of just presuming they we’re’nt
