What a beautiful way to spend a Sunday – Race for Life at Heaton Park, well it could’nt have been a much better day then today to watch and support all the runners raising money for Cancer research and raising awareness of all those suffering from cancer and those who have died from cancer being remembered.

We went along to watch a friend called Irene who was taking part and who was showing Mel’s mum Val’s name as one of those she was remembering, we never actually got to see Irene as there were so many runners there today, I was honestly amazed at the number’s taking part, they just seemed to go on and on for ever.

A big thxs to all those ladies who took part and who worked hard to raise awareness and money for cancer research, Mel say’s she’s going to run next year and if she does I’ll be very proud of her indeed.
