Latest news from the BBC reports that 7 people have been killed thus far by the storms, 2 of those in Manhester,In Stockport a woman in her 60s was crushed to death when a wall was blown over by the high winds, also a man been killed after he was blown into a metal shutter at an industrial estate in the Strangeways area of Manchester.

Theres bound to be a few more deaths before th night is over looking at the way the winds still blowing outside, though thankfully there should’nt be to many of these happening on the motorways, as it would seem that they’ve closed quite alot aorund the country, they’ve closed the Barton Bridge section o the M60 nr me as lorrys were being blown over, this now means my 20 minute journey hme will probably take aout 1hr as the traffic ill be backd up all the way from Stretford to Davyhulme as people try and find an alternative route.
