Let me begin by telling you that you should go and buy this collected works of Billy Bragg, listening to it tonight has brought so many memories flooding back of my mis-spent youth and the Friday/Saturday nights spent getting pissed on cheap booze at Spiders Niteclub in Hull.

Its reminded me of girls I used to fancy (A Lover Sings), and who were’nt interest in me (Jo Smith), but mostly its reminded me of just how good a singer Billy Bragg is, if you dont beleive me go out and buy it is all I can say.

Theres something about Billy and his gritty voice, his honest day to day lyrics that makes his songs seem so alive, no one can sing a better version of New England then he, though Kirsty nearly came close at times, I really must thank a school friend Phil Burton for introducing me BB, enough said now, just gonna go load the album on my ipod and have a listen to the rest of the album in bed.
