Less than 72hrs since GoDaddy got the security filters sorted on the webserver that my websites are hosted, they go down again, no warning… nothing… nada… they just stop working, same issue as before the domains resolve to the correct address, but no content on display.

Contacted GoDaddy and after about 2hrs my sites are back and available to the masses, this time its apparently down to traffic mitigation, whatever that’s supposed to mean.

I now also know the reason behind Mondays server issues, apparently the GoDaddy servers were under a concerted DDOS Attack details here

Would have been nice if GoDaddy had told us this in the first place rather than hearing about from another source, maybe they need to think about the fact that a lot of their customers are fairly savvy and are actually adults, who can be told the truth, anyway I’m watching them like a hawk now, as in less than 14 days of being with them, my sites have been down for about 1.5 days and if this continues I may have to go somewhere else.
