Seems that a Live Music Venue in Cardiff is under threat from closure due to noise levels being complained about by people living in neighbouring flats.

The Venue in question being The Point in Cardiff and its all because some developer decided to buy the land adjacent/next to the venue to build flats,  now knowing full well there’s a live music venue next door you’d think that they would of realised that would be a bad idea, but hey once the flats are built and sold it’s not his problem, it becomes the venues problem, yep the new flat owners have complained to the council about the noise levels.

Personally I think the council should lay it back at the door of the developer and he should be instructed ordered to soundproof either the venue or the flats at his expense, but this is unlikely to happen so how about helping this venue with a little bit of people power, someones started a petition to help this venue stay open and you can sign it here, what’s a few minutes of your Internet time to help a Live Music Venue stay open, it’s place like these all those little bands start off at , where people like yourselves once saw your favourite band play, so get ya finger out and get signing . . .
