Appears that there may have been a rather nasty accident on Davyhulme Road East, not 100% certain, but when 5 Police cars & 2 Fire Engines appear, you just know it’s not going to be nice.

Here’s a few photos I managed to grab on my iPhone of some of the aforementioned Police & Fire Brigade arriving at the Chester Road end of Davyhulme Road East.

The road was blocked off for I’d say about an hour or so, eventually a flatbed recovery truck was seen exiting the road with 2 cars on it, looked like a citron and VW Golf, damaged at there front ends, so most likely a head on collision.

Not seen anything in the local papers about it or on the news, so thankfully no major casualties to report at s guess.
