Well its been a while since I placed my order for the Astro Motion control, originally they gave a construction/Dispatch time of Dec 2012, then due to issues with the prototype this was pushed back to the early part of 2013 and at the last update it was going to ready for the end of June 2013, it’s now the 26th June 2013 and I’ve had another update from Oscar Ramirez the guy who imagined the device and with help from all us Kickstarters created it, we I say created it, but to be honest it’s only just this minute gone into production.

In Oscars own words :

“We start making bulk orders last week and have been working with all our vendors to get the ball rolling, we should be up to speed soon! 

The work is not over though; the coming weeks are going to be crazy, and you will get to see it as it happens! We will be updating all the way”

He’s also mentioned that there is now an iPhone app in the making for the Astro, which will hopefully allow much more manipulation and control of the device, but at present do real details on it, think i would be nice to get a few screen shoots of what the software looks like and maybe some details of the functions it will include.

Just hope my Astro arrives before my next holiday, as really want to create some stunning Panoramic Time-Lapses with it.
