Seems there’s been some issues with the motor this time, not enough torque to lift heavy weights i.e. if the Astro is turned on its side I presume, anyway Oscar has now informed us that :

We will be able to begin shipping units in small batches starting the last week of January, and it should take about one month to fulfill all the orders. This is a very realistic plan and there shouldn’t be any more delays. We want to be up front with you all about what is happening and ensure you we are working hard every day to get these out the door. We want Astros to start shipping just as much as you. We hope you can understand our situation and keep supporting us.

So I’m guessing this means that being a UK backer of the project, I probably won’t get mine until probably late Feb/March/April if I’m lucky and if there are no more delays, so might actually get this in time for this years holidays . . .

Will update again as soon as I have any more information, guessing this will be fairly soon as this week is supposedly the week they start sending out the small batches.
